Reverend Frank E. McCullough
Rev. Frank E. McCullough is a native of Charlotte, N.C. He is the grandson of Edward and Mattie McCullough. He is a product of Charlotte Mecklenburg public schooling and graduated from Olympic High School. After graduation he began working for Seas as a lead technician until he retired in 2000.
After his call into the ministry Rev. McCullough attended Teamer School of Religion, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Theology and a Bachelor of Divinity degree. He serves as the Director of the Cooperative Institute and 2nd Vice Moderator of the Lanes Creek Missionary Baptist Association. He also serves as the President of the Charlotte Ministers Conference. He was honored at the 2018 Gospel Image Award for his excellent Pastoral leadership and community service.
Rev. McCullough has enjoyed 43 years of marriage to Minister Barbara McCullough, who is a retired CMS schoolteacher. They have three daughters: Karen, Cheri’, and Frankie and a son in law, Cedric. They also have five grandsons: Anthony (AJ), Ryan, Schyler, Caleb and Kayson. Rev. McCullough is the Senior Pastor of New Waves of Joy Baptist Church, where he has served for 29 years. He has been working for the Lord, for more than 36 years.
